Raised in Quebec City, Julie spent most of her childhood training as a gymnast. After a highly successful 10-year career into gymnastics, she combined studying cultural exchanges, languages and physical sciences for her Bachelors Degree with advancing her Circus Arts expertise. Ultimately her heart lay with the Circus Arts, and she was called to continue that which she was most passionate about.
At the beginning of her circus career, Julie performed several disciplines for different companies where she became a very versatile artist. She then specialized in three disciplines and she went on to be a freelance artist. She then decided to travel around the world presenting her performances to a range variety of audiences from private to public and corporate.
She won a Bronze Medal and 2 special prizes at the world famous Circus Festival in China in 2007, and in Budapest in 2008.
In 2008, she also performed her solo Cyr Wheel act in ‘WINTUK’ Cirque du Soleil’s winter show in New York as a guest act.
